People trust their eyes more than anything else, seeing what we want to see and often times not what's really there. Trust is the opposite of doubt. When we allow ourselves to trust and believe that somehow we will get that job,that house, that relationship or the money before it shows any sign of appearing but stay in the vibration of that it will come then it must come because this is the law of attraction. We all experience doubt in some area of our lives. Maybe it's doubt in ourselves, or in our faith in people around to us, maybe it's in a goal we set for ourselves yet we are met with obstacles that have us questioning our faith. We are living in a world of contrast, good and bad, night and day, trust and doubt. If we can step into the vortex of trust, trusting our own beautiful intuition that connects us to our higher source which in turn becomes the most powerful tool that we can possess; then we can start living a magical existence. Have you ever seen a child and they believe in something so strongly that no one can shake them of their belief? We all had that at one time, unfortunately over time, events that have transpired in our lives have made us trust less and doubt more. We become more guarded and start to trust others less, and even ourselves. How many times have you asked yourself "why did I not listen to my own inner voice? I knew I shouldn't of said yes, but I did and now look at this mess I am in?" We all can look back at events that have transpired and wished we had followed our first gut instincts. I find myself at times, when I am feeling sadness or longing for something that isn't in my life, that , I will ask myself " do you really doubt that this will not happen or show up?" The answer is no, I know that it will and I must breath in trust and faith and remind myself to look back at every past desire that I have ever longed for has showed up. At some point, no matter how long it took to manifest itself, it did. Staying in the energy of confusion and doubt shines a light on all our fears that we hold within. One will build upon another and before you know it your walking around with anxiety and anxiousness about yourself and the world that you have created. If instead you choose hope,and to trust in yourself and believe that something better is on its way, that something better is unfolding in the most miraculous way that you cannot even see or understand but just trust that it will; then your life will call in miracle after miracle to support that trust that you hold. Let go of anyone in your life that does not support this, pessimists do not create miracles in their lives nor do they trust in the unseen. They only believe the limitations in front of them and the circumstance that have taken place up until today in their lives, which in turn shapes a very limited belief system. We cannot be limited to our realities of today, this does not define who or what we are. We all have the ability to start a new way of thinking, one that is filled with unlimited potential and possibilities, filled with a deep trust and faith that our lives can and will get better. With our knowledge that we have available at our fingertips there is no excuse to not turn back the clock at any age and undo years of damage. One of the most healthy things you can do is when you first get up drink a glass of warm lemon water to alkalize the body and go outside into the early am sun and take some healthy rays. This is healling for your body on so many levels as natural bright light stimulates our whole nervous system and taking in the natural vitamin d only adds to it. You must allow food to be your medicine and medicine be your food as Socrates once quoted. I cannot state enough and the Dr's all across the board now are agreeing that healthy eating is single handily the most important thing to aging gracefully but for also warding off all disease. Food has a huge impact on our well being and can be the biggest contributor to all disease. You must detox as well to rid all the years of poisons accumulating in your bile. Reducing toxic exposure helps prevent toxins from entering in the first place. Next balancing your energy and reducing stress is another important component. We are all made of the same energy that blows winds through the trees and created this whole world, getting acupuncture,massages,exercise and any other kind of energy work to balance all your energy, hormones and help you sleep better. Healing and releasing your past, taking note of your emotional awareness is so important as well. So much heart disease is directly related to stress alone and so much of our stress comes from either worrying about past issues or the future. Finding someone to help you work through all this will not only bring great peace of mind and help your body as it stores all of our emotional traumas as well but it also help you in moving forward in your life and realizing that all dreams are possible. You are never alone or helpless. The force that guides the stars guides you as well. It constantly surprises me how many people run around frantic, allowing negative thinking to rule over them and control them, blaming others for how they feel when it is truly only themselves they have to blame. They will claim all the issues at hand giving them anxiety, when it is simply their own mental weakness killing them. How simple to know that instead of focusing upon that which is troubling you , but to simply see that which brings you joy and happiness is one of the most easiest solutions to immediately feeling better. Often times so many of us allow them mind to only see what is bothering us and then to place our word on it-" he's behaving so badly, I know he will make the same mistake again". Well of course he will as you give all your attention to this matter and constantly reaffirm with your words, do you not realize how much energy your giving to the situation that you dread and don't want to see happen and yet your surprised when it does? Our thoughts are the most powerful tool we have, use them wisely. No matter what is going on around you, to a certain degree the majority of all your thoughts should be only thinking about what you want, how that will feel and visualizing it as much as you can until it seems ike your in a constant daydream. When you see athletes after they just won the super bowl or boxing match and every time you ask them" how did this happen" they all say" I always saw myself being the best, even if I wasn't, I kept telling myself that I was the best; until I was, then it simply has to be. The moment when you start to believe in the unseen; then your reality will shift. You must start with changing how you think, and then evidence will follow- not the other way around. That's where so many people get stuck. They need to see the money or whatever it is they want until they can believe or even feel its real. Big mistake! This will never get you where you want, the true secret lies in the unwavering belief that it's already your even before it happens. I see myself standing on the platform and holding my gold metal, breathing in how amazing that will feel; even way before the moment has happened. You will be tested and fail so many times before it happens, this is where most people fall short. They give up right before that perfect partner or job is ready to land on your path, they think I have waited long enough and I am just gonna go back to that other job and give up. Then the universe changes it winds as it was ready to hand it to you, it just wasn't under your timing. Albert Einstein said" The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking" He never once allowed all his failures or his lack of any education to stop his genius mind from believing in something far greater than anything he could prove was true in that time. He kept trying over and over again until finally his intuition proved him right. Learn to use your brilliant mind for what it is, and lose all the negative programing that you picked up and you will be unstoppable.
You have the ability to create your own reality through your thoughts and by either focusing on how your life is or how you want it to be. Your mind is either focusing on what was or a new goal. The choice of your focus is yours. Start day by day, observing what your primary thoughts are, followed by your words and how they are making you feel. As you move forward allow negative thought patterns that you know not only don't serve you but will not help you in any way feel better or reach desired goals replaced with positive thoughts. you will always be aware that you are moving closer to a goal or away from it. Make four categories- my home,my body, my work and my relationships. Write down what you desire from each one, example: what I desire about my body. I want to lose weight around my stomach, I want to love how I look naked and I want to get healthier. Next explain why each one on the list is important to you, example: I want to lose weight around my stomach so I feel better in a bathing suit. I want to feel better when I am naked so I am confidant and not shy. When we go one by one through each area of our lives and write down our goals for each one and then why they are important we are becoming really detailed in our goals and have a deeper understanding why they are important to us.After you list all your reasons why each one is important, then write positive affirmations down that support each one, example: I love the way I now look naked and in my bathing suits. I am so happy all my hard work has paid off, I look and feel great! We all have unlimited possibilities within us to achieve greatness. If you ever feel that for some reason you see that your self sabotaging yourself, start to write down exactly what the desired end result is that your looking for and what you see of feel that your doing that is getting in the way. Next think about why or if theres any reasons why you may be blocking yourself, maybe any feelings of unworthiness or not deserving it. Take the time to explore all possiblities, and if in your heart you still seek that same goal, start to write your new list down again why you want it and why it's important to you. Write as many positive affirmations that support worthiness and allowing. Example: I really want a new relationship. It's important to me because I love people and I enjoy a loving happy relationship, even if my past doesn't reflect that. I am allowing a healthy new relationship into my life now that supports and satisfies me on every level. I am worthy and deserving of love. So many clients that I speak to will share that they don't feel worthy or that they think it doesn't exist, crazy right?! Step into your own divine birthright and personal power, which is the knowingness that you can have and be anything you desire, it's all there for your reach. You just need to get out of your own way and remember that we are all born powerful creators.
We are all energy, made from the same source, connected to the same source. When we start to realize this, and understand how much we are affected by this, we can start to learn how to manipulate our energy for our highest well being and for that of that planet. Imagine the mind to be like an magnet. If this magnet radiates happiness, all forms of happiness are drawn to it; the same will apply to sadness, as all forms will be drawn to support that same energy. If we start to observe ourselves when we are feeling sad, or depressed, and knowing that as long as we stay with these feelings, that our energetic field holds this vibration and will attract more situations to us that we will be in alignment with however we are feeling and giving our attention to. So knowing that the most simple way to start feeling better is to do whatever we can to uplift ourselves and give our attention to something that brings us joy and makes us feel happy. We all have moments in our life where we might be worrying about our future, or dwelling on past moments, or feeling sad for no reason;but in these pivotal moments we have the opportunity to transform ourselves and go within and focus on our blessings that we have around to us. Remember maybe even how far we have come in life and by focusing on only the good we can train our mind to stay there and not occupy the negative space, day after day of this practice you will start to notice how much more peaceful you feel and less woried and life becomes better. The average brains process thousands of thoughts in a hour, most of which are negative. By observing ourselves every time we carry a negative thought and the knowingness that the longer we focus on it, we are giving it energy; then it will manifest into our reality, why on earth would we want to do that? When I find this happening to myself, I immediately put up my hand and say STOP! and I think how can I see this different and with love? If in this moment I am not able to, then I simply think of something else that brings me joy and I focus on that until the negative one dissipates. The more I do this, the more I start to notice that I think in a more positive way and I feel so much better. Everything that has ever been created came from a thought, which in turn was given energy to it, and then became a reality. The trees and plants carry energy, the animals as well as the whole human race. When the famous Japanese researcher Masaru Emoto took glasses of water and prayed in front of one glass and said " I love you, your beautiful" and took another glass and said " you fool, I hate you" the results astounded everybody. When the water was placed under the microscope, the one that was spoke lovingly to had the most beautiful snowflake shapes to it; when the one that was spoke negatively to was looked at, it looked like a dark misshapen blob. He proved that even water was affected by energy; simply through our words. Start looking at the world with love in your heart, starting with yourself, and together we can transform not only our own lives, but the world collectively around to us.
What are negative thoughts and how do we free our mind from them? We are given the choice to think, act and make choices as we desire. Free will either puts us in harmony with the universe or disconnects us. A harmful thought or action will also cause this. So if unhappiness sets upon us, one must stop and ask themselves: where in my past did these feelings originate? Somehow, somewhere we must of sent out negative energy which is now coming back to us in mental distress. In the opposite manner the universe also responds to positive action. When you love all that surrounds you, and are helping others you are flooded with inner peace. Your mind becomes serene and optimistic and your free from negative thoughts.One must first start to practice by simply thinking in a positive way until it becomes the dominating one. To tame the mind we must understand an important thing about it's nature: the mind is incapable of thinking two separate thoughts simultaneously. what does that mean exactly? A negative thought cannot remain where a positive thought is present. How you choose to react to the daily passings in your life is up to you. We will face many challenges that will test you. With daily mindfulness and great effort you will learn to rewire your mind to react in a positive way only. Focus on the good in your life and whats working. When something or someone that bothers you shows up, start by observing first rather than reacting, then ask your higher self what negative thoughts am I carrying about this and how can I replace them so internally I feel better and will also result in a more positive outcome for all involved. By retraining ourselves and how we react the end results are shocking. Not only do you feel so empowered by not reacting to others irrational behavior but the inner strength and peace of mind that you will master will become indispensable to you. Remember positive thoughts generate positive feelings which then leads to a positive life.
I just spent one week in Tulum and it was simply not long enough. Long roads encased with palm trees up and down truly gives you the feeling of being one with the jungle. Small yet charming hotels, boutiques and restaurants are abundant. Tulum is one of the most magical places I've ever encountered. What sets Tulum apart from other parts of Mexico? Their unwavering commitment to sustainability using natural resources such as solar power, cutting edge waste systems, gravity fed showers that are fed from rain water and an abundance of organically grown locally sourced food. Most hotels, stores and restaurants are all building their establishments around the jungle versus tearing down the trees. Yoga studios, Temazcal (Mayan sweat lodge), sound healing baths are endless here. The vibe was Boho-posh. This is a must to add to your bucket list.
Located on the beach of Tulum with the most organic architecture that blends nature with the hotel seamlessly. Completely self-sustaining using only natural resources makes you feel as if your camping in the mayan jungle in a 5 star teepee. The paths to enter the hotel are constructed of bamboo walkways with thick twine as your rails. Their restaurant Kin|Toh is a blend of haute Mayan-Mexican cuisine. One of the coolest restaurants I've ever seen with the ceiling make of hammocks, although I recommend for drinks only.

This Polynesian style small boutique style hotel is quite a gem. With Raw Love a fully raw vegan restaurant on property, yoga studio upstairs, message rooms, and bicycles for rent you will be rejuvenated after your stay. The restaurant opens up the beach with dreamcatchers abound, and beautiful bed-style cabanas set up along the beach. The fresh ceviche, guacamole and fresh grilled seafood and meats served while you bask in the sun make you never want to leave this spot.
A short bike ride from this hotel will lead you the Tulum Ruins. With live music playing and the make your own margarita bar this young, fun hotel has a delicious restaurant on property which I highly recommend stopping here for lunch and spending the day enjoying their beaches.
This super hip and trendy hotel was amongst one of my favorites. Almost at the edge of town next to their sister hotel Nômade, this spot features dj's that play all day and night along the beach thought their property. Tree-lined paths take you to your rooms and to the beach. You are one with nature at all times here. Super chic with attention to many details, no matter what level of travel you are accustomed to, you will love it here. Great place for lunch with a view over looking the water.
This hotel was my favorite. A natural habitat with clay style huts nestled on the sand between palm trees. This is a chic worldly hotel that will stimulate your mind, body and soul. Directly set on the Caribbean sea they offer yoga, sacred sound healing, and wellness classes. Macondo uses local sustainably farmed ingredients meant to heal your heart and nourish your soul.
Edwardo has been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. This little food truck has amazing guacamole, pair it with a beer and it will set you back $8. You much try his mole sauce, with 25 unique spices.
Amazing pizza with delicious fresh pasta and salads.
Owner Gurda Aydinli and his wife along with his two sons come from Turkey bringing delicious homemade hummus, falafel, kabobs and an amazing greek salad. A homie feel with wifi and everything is served mayan style"with a smile"
Stop by, grab a margarita and head upstairs to the rooftop to check out the spectacular view of the sunset. This is a must do.
This restaurant had a wait of one hour every night. Well worth it. The fresh octopus and ceviche was some of the best I've ever had. Fresh grilled fish and the ribs seemed to be the popular dishes here. The empanadas and the jicama salad were my favorite.
Michelin star Mauricio Giovanini has designed a menu to allow you to experience different flavors to enjoy with friends and loved ones. Must try the thai and hindu chipa, grilled octopus, pork belly in a morrocan marinade and the wild alaskan salmon. This is five star dining in the jungle.
Try the fish tostada, the fresh ceviche, pez romero- which is an open butterfly fish cooked in a brick oven. The fresh roasted sweet potato and wood roasted cauliflower are must-haves. Skip the whole fish it was a super smelly grouper. End your meal with the homemade churros.
The gorditas and spicy melon salad flavors made this one of my favorite spots here. The grilled avocado and the fire roasted cauliflower soup one must try. Super chic and trendy with beautiful music and beautiful people makes this a hot spot in Tulum. Get here by 7 or be prepared to wait a while for a table.
This cash only hot spot had lines out the door every night. Try the fresh catch of the day in their wood fired oven. Bartenders make amazing drinks. Their are a variety of meats and seafood all prepared daily with a menu changing frequently.

If you wait for outside sources to validate you, then you will always be giving away your power. It starts with you. Do you want to feel more confident? Do you want a loving relationship? Do you want to feel that your talented and successful? Allow yourself to believe in all that you can be. If you want more respect, start by showing more respect towards others. Often times outside sources can try to hold us back or even have us questioning ourselves. Do not allow others and their perception of you be the deciding factor on what you can or cannot do! We are all viewing life with our own thoughts, knowledge and beliefs. Some of us were fortunate enough to be raised by spiritually aware parents that put no limits on our imaginations and self-worth. We were allowed to believe that we could do whatever we set out to do. Others were raised by parents who had a more narrow, limited way of thinking and convinced us that we could only do this or be that. And even more sad were the ones that were abused verbally and physically and were told horrific things that became a part of their belief system. Allow yourself to go back to your child-like self. What did you dream of? What did you tell your friends "when I grow up, I'm gonna be..." Don't let other peoples ideas of what you aught to be determine what you are able to do. Look to what you can have and do. Don't allow anyone or anything to stop you. Start to look and think about yourself in a new way. When you believe in yourself, others will too. Look back to a moment in your life when you made a decision and many around you were against it. Maybe even try to talk you out of it. Did you persevere? Did you listen to your own self and say "I am going to do this!" What steps did you take to get the courage to believe in yourself without listening to the naysayers. You are the only one who can change the story about yourself. How? By changing what you believe about yourself. If you have been told that you are anything less perfection; this is not your truth. Learn to love and believe in yourself like never before. Your brain will try to tell you "you can't do that!" or "don't try or you will fail." But, the mind only tricks us into thinking we are something we are not. Think about how a computer autocorrects a word. The word is used repeatedly enough that it remembers how to spell it. Our brain works the same way with our beliefs about ourselves. So, we need to go deep inside to correct the original spelling error which is "I can't" to an automatic "I can!" Then we truly start to believe in ourselves and become what is our birthright: an unlimited soul that is powerful beyond imagination.

Often times you part ways but a feeling of yearning remains. Your imagination turns this former partner into an ideal and you experience painful longing which cannot be satisfied. Thoughts that no one better will come tear you apart. This aching, clinging feeling will interfere with new romantic relationships trying to come to you. Releasing these feelings of a one sided relationship will help you to get rid of these ideas that play out over and over in your mind.
How to release unhealthy yearnings: Step 1.) Break free from this fantasy in your mind that isolates you. Step 2.) Acknowledge infinite opportunities that are here for you. Step 3.) Connect in your heart to the soul that is waiting to be your perfect partner. Step 4. You must be determined to let go of any inner obsessions. Firmly decide to release any ideas that no longer serve you. Allow your determination to fill your inner being. Step 5.) Visualize the person you're yearning for in the following ridiculous scenario: close your eyes and picture a screen. This person you yearn for stands behind the screen. The screen slowly starts to reveal their feet. The toenails are so long that they are actually curled up like carrot peels. The feet are dirty and crusty-looking. The screen moves up to reveal the pants, they are bright orange with giant bright polka-dots. The screen continues to move upwards and you see the crazy zebra shirt. Now their face is being revealed. You see them picking their nose. Their hair is in a mohawk and dyed the colors of the rainbow. They motion forward to give you a kiss and you stop them and say "no, our paths are different now, and I no longer wish to be with you. I bless you and wish you well. I request you leave my heart, mind and life forever." Although this exercise may seem very silly it works on a deep subconscious level to reprogram how you see this person. Eventually, every time you think of them you will start laughing instead of feeling a deep yearning for them.
