"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food." Hippocrates
The typical American diet is astonishingly lacking in nutrients and is highly acid-forming, which is directly linked to disease. Eating meat, dairy, wheat, corn and refined sugar all contribute to this. Eating not only a variety of fruits and vegetables on a daily basis but also implementing superfoods into your diet will help with weight-loss, increased energy and stamina and will also heal your body on every level. These are our favorite superfoods I recommend slowly indroducing into your diet:

A rich source of health-giving phytonutrients such as carotenoids, GLA, SOD and phycocyanin.
2800% more beta-carotene than carrots.
3900% more iron than spinach

They have a mild, nutty flavor and are often referred to as hemp hearts. Hemp seeds are the most nutrient dense superfood there is. With key vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
